What is the Tailored Employment and Education Program?

The Qualify Tailored Employment and Education Program is a Paving the Way Forward program (PTWF) initiative funded by the Victorian Government Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH). TEEP was codesigned with invaluable insight and support from the Flemington and North Melbourne Housing residents as part of the 2022-23 Local Action Plans.

This initiative is all about making a real impact in these vibrant communities. Together, we’re on a mission to create meaningful opportunities to pave the way to a brighter future for all involved.

At Qualify we are passionate about helping people reach their full potential. We understand that finding the right career path can be challenging, that’s why we offer tailored, individualised help. Our program is dedicated to supporting North Melbourne and Flemington public housing residents to achieve their education and employment goals.

Our program is tailored for you. Our mentors will work with you to help identify your goals, strengths and needs.

Program Delivery:

• Initial individual goals and planning session
• WorkReady course: weekly ½ day on-site workshops with virtual options
• One-on-one mentoring sessions

Our Mentors will help you:

• Identify your strengths and explore your career goals
• develop your resume and practice interviews and applications
• develop an individual learning and career plan
• match you with jobs that interest you
• help you enrol in training or obtain qualifications
• connect you to support services.
• provide ongoing support
