Who do we work with?

The Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) Program provides a safe and supportive place to learn, helping you strengthen your skills and open new pathways for work and career growth.

Our flexible approach lets you learn at your own pace and celebrate every milestone along the way. You’ll gain the confidence, experience and practical skills needed to find employment, advance in your job and take real steps toward a brighter future.

Delivered in short 12-week blocks, our courses make learning achievable and rewarding. You’ll build essential reading, writing, numeracy and digital literacy skills, while developing practical abilities that help you stand out at interviews and thrive in the workplace.

Our blended delivery combines online and individual trainer support sessions by phone or video link, ensuring you get the guidance you need to succeed.

Foundation Skills

Develop practical strategies for work-related learning and career planning, while improving your reading, writing, numeracy and digital skills. You’ll also explore real-world topics such as using digital software, managing money and understanding health and wellbeing. Along the way, you’ll strengthen your communication skills and build the confidence to succeed in the workplace and beyond.

Am I eligible?

To be eligible for the SEE program you need to be:

  • an Australian citizen, or
  • a permanent visa holder, or
  • on a provisional or temporary visa with working rights and eligible for the Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP), or
  • a Pacific Australia Labour Mobility visa holder

and

  • be aged 15 years and over and left school

You cannot take part in SEE and AMEP at the same time.

The Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) Program is funded by the Australian Government Department of Employment and Workplace Relations.
